Privacy Policy
Last updated September 28, 2026
On September 30, 2026 BakeSync was renamed QratedBake and moved to qratedbake.com. Nothing else in this page changed.
The short version. QratedBake uses your store's sales and your team's entries to plan your bake, and for nothing else of its own. We do not sell anyone's information, show ads or use advertising trackers. A few companies help us run QratedBake, and each is named below. Ask us any time for a copy of your information or to delete it.
QratedSoul LLC, a New Jersey company, makes QratedBake ("we", "us" or "our"). This policy explains what information QratedBake collects, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It covers qratedbake.com and every QratedBake page and email. QratedBake is a service for businesses: most of the information in it belongs to the stores that use it, and we handle it on their behalf.
What we collect
From store owners, at setup and in settings: your name and email address, the email addresses that receive the sheet, your store's name, code, address, time zone and hours, your plan, item costs and menu choices, and the API credentials for your point of sale.
From your point of sale (today, Toast), through the credentials you give us: orders and sales by item and time, menu items and prices, stock levels and waste entries, which staff member rang each order (an ID), and, where your Toast access includes it, staff first names and last initials.
From your team, in QratedBake: items checked off and amounts made, close counts, waste counts, display photos of the case, and on plans that include them, uniform photos and checklist answers. When a store turns on sign in, QratedBake notes who made each change.
Your staff list, added by an owner or manager: each person's name, role, phone number, email address if given, and a PIN. PINs are stored only in scrambled form that cannot be turned back into the PIN.
Sign in: the email address you sign in with, the one time codes we send (they expire after 10 minutes) and a sign in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
Billing: Stripe collects your card details on its own secure page. We receive your subscription's plan, status and dates and the billing email, never your full card number.
Support: the messages you send us and our replies, so we can help you and fix what caused the problem.
Technical information: our servers keep short technical logs (such as the time and page of a request) to keep QratedBake running and secure. The kitchen tablet page stores unsent changes and the tab you last opened in the tablet's own browser, so nothing is lost when the connection drops. We use no advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To build your production sheets, send them, and run the tablet page, the dashboards and sign in.
- To bill your subscription, answer your messages and send you emails about your store and your account.
- To keep QratedBake secure, find and fix problems, and make encrypted backups.
- To improve our forecasts and QratedBake, including with information from all stores in combined, de-identified form, where no store and no person can be identified.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we never show one store's information to another store.
Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run QratedBake, only what each one needs, and they may use it only to provide their service to us:
- Toast, your point of sale, to read your store's data with the credentials you give us.
- Stripe, for payments and billing.
- Hostinger, which hosts our servers and our email mailbox.
- Google, which delivers some of our email and serves the fonts our pages use (your browser asks Google for them).
- Anthropic, whose AI checks uniform photos on the plans that include that check, and whose AI tools help us build, operate and support QratedBake.
- Open-Meteo, for weather forecasts at your store's location.
- The U.S. Census Bureau and OpenStreetMap, to turn your store's address into map coordinates at setup.
- Apple iCloud, where our encrypted nightly backups are kept. The backups are encrypted before they leave our server.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or with a company that takes over QratedBake, which would have to follow this policy.
How long we keep it
- Your store's data is kept while your store uses QratedBake, because the forecasts learn from your history.
- Display and uniform photos are deleted after 60 days.
- Sign in codes expire after 10 minutes, and a sign in lasts up to 30 days.
- Encrypted backups are made every night and the newest 14 are kept, so something deleted leaves the backups within about two weeks.
- When a store stops using QratedBake, we keep its data so it can come back where it left off, unless the owner asks us to delete it. We then delete it within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
Your choices
Email customerservice@qratedbake.com to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it or to delete it. We answer within 30 days. Owners and managers can change most store details, the staff list and email settings on the dashboard themselves. If you are a staff member of a store, you can ask the store, or ask us and we will work with the store to answer you. You can revoke QratedBake's access to your point of sale in Toast at any time.
Security
Every page is served over an encrypted connection. Dashboards and tablet pages use long private links, sign in uses one time codes, PINs are stored scrambled, point of sale credentials stay on our server, and backups are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you without undue delay and as the law requires.
Children
QratedBake is a tool for businesses and is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We will post any change here and update the date at the top. When a change is significant, we will tell store owners by email or on the dashboard before it takes effect.
